“Prior to Vic joining our firm, we had not had a true operations manager.  In a relatively short time,
Vic combined organizational skills, vision, attention to detail and budget, design expertise, ability
to work with diverse individuals and groups with clear communication skills to take our operations management to a new level – this was no small task given the complexity and range of projects, people and departments that he was overseeing.  In addition to his performance for his direct
areas of responsibility, he added a level of professionalism, teamwork, focus on goals, attention to budget and creative thinking to our strategic leadership team.   Through the negotiations of selling the Park to the State of NC, Vic was a trusted advisor whose counsel, wisdom and insight was invaluable to me as we navigated through this rigorous, intricate and ultimately satisfying process.” Todd Morse, President - Chimney Rock Company

"Vic Knight has a great combination of skills.  He's a talented designer who creates site plans that work in the real world.  He has the graphic skills to present his ideas in winning style.  And, most importantly, he works his designs into economical site development budgets.  Plus, he's a pleasure to work with." JimEgnew, Owner - Prime Carolina, LLC

I would like to make a few comments on the work of Vic Knight. In my experience he is positive and innovative. He is able to bring to a large and inspiring perspective to a landscaping concern. My organization, a private school, engaged Vic to address an issue that was quite disturbing to us. Another organization was developing a large parking lot immediately adjacent to our playground. We were very concerned. We were prepared to create a significant green buffer between our playground and the developing parking lot but were concerned about how much playground space we would lose in the process. Vic showed us how we could turn this into an opportunity to enhance our playground by turning it into a wild life habitat learning environment. He went on to show us how we could enhance and expand our outdoor learning environment by developing some unused property into an expanded adventure of nature trails, community gardens, a rock council circle, a sand bar creek classroom, and an enticing tree house. In addition he added a solution to an ever growing traffic flow, parent drop off, and pickup issue. To top it off Vic showed us how his plan would give us access to earn three international-national certification programs: The National Wildlife Federation: Schoolyard Habitat Certification; the World Health Organization: Global School Health Initiative; and a LEED Certification. I never imagined that Vic would take what looked like a nightmare to such a high level of positive development. John Johnson, M.S., Th.D., Executive Director - Odyssey Community School
