Vic Knight received his Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University in 1997. The first decade of his career focused on destination resort planning, residential garden design, planned communities and parks & recreation. Vic also gained over six years of invaluable business management experience while serving as VP of Operations for Chimney Rock Park followed by three years as President of Reynolds Mountain Communities, a 500 acre mixed-use development located in Asheville, NC.
For the past 10 years, Vic has owned and operated Knight Strategies, providing high-end residential and commercial Design+Build Projects. This combined experience has resulted in a highly refined understanding of planning and design as well as business and project management.
The energy and spirit of a place, what makes it unique, is very important to Vic. Using this as a foundation to influence the design is imperative to creating a vibrant and engaging sense of place. Vic uses this understanding of the site coupled with his professional experience to guide clients in the management of projects from idea inception through project completion. I value each client’s resources as my own, and always emphasize the cost-value relationship throughout each phase of the project. I measure my success by my client’s success and enjoyment of their property.
