VIC KNIGHTOwner | Landscape Architect | General Contractor
Bachelors of Landscape Architecture Mississippi State University ~ 1997
Vic’s design perspective and vision for developing outdoor spaces began as a child, where you could always find him immersed in nature. He could be found designing anything from forts to tree houses to skateboarding ramps…if it was outside, he probably designed and tried to build it. And from what we hear, not only designed them but also organized, led the efforts, and dallied out the tasks, to friends, to get it done. No wonder this led to a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Mississippi State University in 1997. Vic began his career shortly after, working on both national and international projects. Vic founded Knight Strategies in 2009, later going on to receive his General Contractors License as well as a certification in Healthcare Garden design.
His amazing designs have been featured in Landscape Architecture magazine as well as Landscape Contractor magazine. He also won an AIA award for his work with AVL technologies. In his free time, you can often find Vic…still in the woods, building forts with his teenage son, Adler. You’ll also find him hiking, mountain biking, boating, and exploring the mountains and coastal areas of North and South Carolina. Areas of Expertise:
